Attn: Interested Parties Living in the Bay Area:

An introductory evening class on reading New Testament Greek is forming, to begin in early July. This class will run for five weeks and give students a basic preparation for further study in the Greek text of the New Testament. This is a beginning class; no background in ancient Greek is needed. The format of the class will be fairly informal, with lots of class participation and opportunities to practice.

By the end of the class, students will be able to read simple passages in the New Testament, and be prepared for further and deeper study into this important language. We are planning an additional follow-on class to teach additional skills for reading more advanced New Testament and related texts.

The instructor, Dr. Peter Nanopoulos, is a highly experienced instructor of both ancient and modern Greek.
